Kylie Jenner Channels Major Y2K Pop Star Energy for Fragrance Announcement
If you’re still on the hunt for a new signature scent for 2026, Kylie Jenner may have the answer you’re looking for with the latest addition to her popular fragrance line.
The brand mogul stopped by Instagram on Saturday, Jan. 10, to tease her 391 million followers with news of her latest creation for Kylie Cosmetics. Alongside the exciting announcement, Jenner also shared a new single snapshot of herself holding the product, and the monochromatic outfit she sported for the ad might ring some bells for all the millennials out there.

Posing with an oversized prop of the perfume, Jenner wore a figure-hugging latex catsuit in a vibrant cherry-red shade. Given the cut and color of the outfit, it appeared she was channeling major Y2K pop star energy for the sultry shoot, taking inspiration from Britney Spears’s iconic “Oops...I Did It Again” music video. Honestly, all that was missing to complete the ensemble was the heart of the ocean (This is the part when you say, “But I thought the old lady dropped it into the ocean in the end?”).
The brand founder also rocked a classic Jenner glam for the snapshot, comprising a neutral color palette with matte skin, blended eyeshadows and nude lips. Her dark tresses were left down, styled in tight, bouncy curls, and her striking red manicure made for the ultimate femme fatale-approved finishing touch.
And this Y2K daydream wasn’t the only latex ensemble Jenner rocked for the announcement, with the mogul sharing a second, separate look to the official Kylie Cosmetics Instagram account shortly following her first. There, she traded in the long sleeves for a daring V-neck tank in the same glossy red fabric, switching out her nude lip for a shiny crimson pout instead.
The new fragrance—which is appropriately named “COSMIC INTENSE”—is the latest addition to her popular COSMIC line. Still, this drop brings something decidedly different to the collection, taking a warmer, richer route that is likely to be, well, more “intense” than her previous scents.
“When creating this, I kept thinking about how to make my favorite parts of COSMIC even more irresistible. I wanted richer vanilla, more warmth, and that creamy softness that stays with you,” Jenner penned in her original Instagram caption. “This fragrance is the next chapter of my cosmic universe, and it’s one I’m so proud of... just in time for Valentine’s Day 🤭”
