We’ll Never Be Over Miley Cyrus’s Sheer Dress Moment in New York City

Miley Cyrus and iconic fashion moments go hand-in-hand, as people can’t get enough of this pop star’s wickedly good sense of style. This time around, it was a sheer dress she wore in New York City that caught everyone’s eye.
Cyrus’s look was just the right amount of fun and flirty. Starting with a black strip across her clavicle, the garment then split into a large cut-out that allowed for the perfect amount of skin to show before transitioning into the rest of the mesh fabric. From there, the dress pooled into a magnificent pile that gave the piece a truly dramatic aura. With a dress this glamorous, the accessories absolutely had to match the vibe, hence why Cyrus decided to go with a pair of dark-tinted sunglasses and open-toed black heels.
As for her hair, the “Younger Now” singer put her blonde tresses in a messy updo with curls falling all over. This style truly hit the fancy yet casual look she was going for.
But she wasn’t only in the Big Apple to serve sickening looks! She was also there on business, which included showing support for the newly built second location of the Rough Trade—an indie record shop at 30 Rockefeller Plaza—and paying a visit to none other than Jimmy Fallon on the NBC late-night show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, who deemed the American singer-songerwriter his “favorite.”
Cyrus chatted it up with the talk show host, bonding over their run-ins with one another and talking about their recent accomplishments, such as the 32-year-old’s Grammy win.
“The reason I love that I never got a Grammy before was because it was never my compass. It was not my North Star,” Cyrus said. “That wasn’t what I was after because I didn’t really expect it. And so that’s why the show had so much life, and I was genuinely surprised when I got my award.”
And, of course, the two also talked all about Cyrus’s latest studio album Something Beautiful.
“‘Something Beautiful’ was the first song that I wrote on this record, and it became this compass for me, where I knew that this was the path that I was meant to be journeying on right now,” she divulged.
The Tennessee native always manages to outdo herself, not just with her innovative sound but also with her edgy and daring wardrobe.
