Mindy Kaling celebrated New York Fashion Week looking like a major mogul. The actress-producer wore a gorgeous red Michael Kors power suit to the designer’s fall-winter 2023 runway show on Wednesday.

Kaling paired her perfectly tailored suit jacket with a red button-up underneath and crisp crimson-colored pants. She accessorized her look, styled by Molly Dickson, with a chain-link red handbag and pointed-toe pumps. Makeup artist Keita Moore gave The Mindy Project star a dark red lip to match, while hairstylist Tatyana B styled Kaling’s long dark locks in waves.

Kaling showed off her outfit on Instagram the day after the runway show, where she sat front row alongside Anna Wintour, Gloria Steinem and Savannah Guthrie. She posed with the designer himself, as well as The White Lotus stars Beatrice Grannò and Simona Tabasco.

“In town for the original MK, my brilliant friend @michaelkors, to celebrate his spectacular new collection for New York fashion week. ❤️,” Kaling wrote in the caption she shared with her 6.5 million followers.

The 43-year-old modeled her outfit from various angles and offered up a few behind-the-scenes snapshots as she got ready for the event with her glam squad. She concluded her post with a pic of herself eating a slice of pizza in the back of a car.

Celebrity friends and fans were quick to hype up Kaling in the comments section, which was littered with red heart and heart-eye emojis.

“So chic 🔥,” Kaling’s The Morning Show costar Reese Witherspoon gushed.

“2 iconic MKs better than 1,” quipped Poorna Jagannathan.

“I am obviously obsessed with this look, the pizza, and slide 4,” Rachel Sklar wrote, referencing the snapshot alongside Grannò and Tabasco.
