Olivia Dunne is showing fashion fans that it only takes a few go-to items to be red carpet ready.

The former NCAA gymnast, model and content creator traveled to San Francisco this week ahead of the Super Bowl to take part in all the football festivities, including the many parties thrown in the lead-up to Sunday’s big game. One of these parties was the Madden Bowl presented by SUPER BOWL EA SPORTS™ on Friday, Feb. 6, where Dunne walked the appropriately blue carpet in a simple but chic look that embraced Earth tones to the fullest.

Effortless elegance

For the event, the content creator sported a fitted cocoa-brown mini dress with a strapless neckline, the hem sitting mid-thigh. Over the top, she layered an oversized, plush-looking tan suede jacket, which she wore off her shoulders for a sultry final silhouette. Her unique, strappy heels matched the deep, Earthy shade of the dress, and she accessorized the laidback look further with a dainty gold necklace, mini gold hoop earrings and a white handbag.

Dunne left her signature platinum blonde hair down, so that it sat on her bare shoulders, giving her tresses a slight curl at the ends for even more body and movement. Her makeup matched the effortlessly elegant vibe of the overall outfit, as the athlete opted for matte skin, peachy cheeks, cool-toned eyeshadows and a glossy pink lip.

Sharing style and wisdom

Still, Dunne didn’t simply walk the carpet looking casually cool; she also imparted some wisdom on the next generation. While chatting with Good Morning America at the event, the athlete was asked to share a “message to young female athletes,” and her candid response reflected her own experience.

“Keep breaking down boundaries, and don’t let male expectations limit you. That’s what I would say,” she told the outlet. And the former NCAA gymnast—who officially announced her retirement from the sport last April—certainly knows a thing or two about breaking boundaries, as she was one of the highest-earning NIL college athletes during her time at Louisiana State University. She continued her passionate work in helping female athletes thrive, founding The Livvy Fund to connect female LSU students with brand opportunities to grow their reach and visibility.

The athlete even returned to her alma mater earlier this week, where she filmed a TikTok video documenting the visit to her old stomping ground. In the video, she playfully poked fun at herself and her love of the school, writing in the caption, “back for my 12th year!” The video has already garnered 3.5 million views on the platform at the time of this article’s publication.
