Olympic Gymnast Nastia Liukin Launches Capsule Clothing Collection in Partnership With Dillard’s

The gold medalist released the ‘Nastia Liukin for Gianni Bini’ line as an ‘ode to the modern woman’s’ diverse wardrobe and calendar.

Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin, who penned a powerful essay about LSU star athlete Olivia Dunne in this year’s SI Swimsuit Issue, just debuted her line in partnership with upscale department store Dillard’s.

The “Nastia Liukin for Gianni Bini” capsule collection launched today, Nov. 6, and features everything you need to create a slew of sophisticated and elegant, yet minimal and neutral fall looks.

From a satin and lace dress and hot pink maxi coat to knee-high croc textured boots and classy plain white sneakers, this capsule collection is “an ode to the modern woman, whose fashion needs are as diverse as her calendar.”

The 34-year-old, who won the all-around gold medal at the 2008 Olympic games in Beijing, created a capsule of high-quality staple pieces in addition to unique statement numbers that reflect Liukin’s bold personal style and major life moments.

“My love and passion for fashion has always been there. I even designed all my competition leotards since I was 10 or so. Having this creative opportunity with Gianni Bini and Dillard’s has been so much fun, and the team has been incredible,” she told Business Wire. “Every single item in my collection is named after someone or something meaningful in my life. I have always been a firm believer in everything and everybody comes into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. These pieces are a celebration of those little or big moments that make us feel proud—of ourselves and of each other.”
