We simply adore any time nail artist to the stars Tom Bachik shares his secrets, and the professional manicurist did just that after client Jennifer Lopez appeared on Saturday Night Live last weekend.

In an Instagram post on Feb. 4, Bachik described exactly what he did to achieve JLo’s pretty in pink manicure, right down to the light and fresh-looking nail polish combo.

“I love custom layering nude shades to achieve the perfect color,” he wrote. “ ... I applied a single coat of ‘Mademoiselle’ as my base color for a sheer milky pink. However, I wanted the shade to be a bit more peachy to perfectly match her gown. So I applied a single coat of ‘Skinny Dip’ to achieve the perfect color.”

When combined, these two sheer pink-peach colors resulted in a stunning and natural-looking manicure on the “Jenny From the Block” singer’s hands. In addition to a base and top coat, Bachik also applied a cuticle oil to “rehydrate and moisturize,” he noted in his caption.

We weren’t the only ones to take notice of his artistry, as several fans chimed in to the comments section with praise.

“Stunning nails and the photo is.. wow! 😍 So gentle and beautiful. 🥰,” one person noted.

“Very peachy beautiful 😍💕,” someone else added.

“So Pretty!! 🔥😍,” one user gushed.
