Rickea Jackson Perfects Pregame Streetwear With the Ultimate Statement Item

Before the Los Angeles Sparks entered Atlantaâs Gateway Center Arena @ College Park for their Wednesday night matchup vs. the Dream, its starting forward, Rickea Jackson, debuted a pregame âfit that caught our attention.
The 6-foot-2 forwardâwho was selected by Los Angeles with the fourth overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draftâarrived in an ultra-comfy ensemble that had a commanding three-word sentence printed on the top. The white cropped tee read âBODY IS KEAââa playful riff on the phrase âbody is teaâ with the last three letters of the ballerâs first name.
âMy stylist, Victoria, said âDress how you want to be addressedâ and I just love that so much,â Jackson told Just Womenâs Sports last month. âThatâs a big thing that I truly take to heart now because the clothes you wear, I feel like, speak for you before you even walk in the room.â
Wednesday nightâs look was no exception, and coincides with a sentiment she shared with the media outlet: âConfidence is everything.â
The 24-year-old completed her neutral ensemble with a pair of oversized sweat shorts, knee-high black boots and a matching black bag. She added a couple of statement accessories, including a duo of tennis bracelets and a silver necklace repping the nickname. On the hardwood, she completed the matchup with 15 points and 3 rebounds, as the Sparks ultimately fell to the Dream 86-75.
And itâs no surprise that Jackson turned heads. The former University of Tennessee Volunteer is known to dress to impress before game time, earning high praise from media and fans alike. In a 12-slide carousel of the baller posted by LeagueFitsâwhich has amassed over a million followers on Instagram aloneâfolks rushed to give Jackson her flowers.
âMost definitely can dress tf downnn đ,â one user wrote.
âShe leads the pack in tunnel fits đŻđđ,â another fan declared.
âWhen you have to model at 5 but the game starts at 7. đ©,â a commenter added.
For the sophomore stunner, more standout looks are in her future, telling Andscape in July, âI want to play my role, whatever that looks like, in growing the game of tunnel fashion in the NBA, the WNBA. Wherever I see fit, I want to be a part of it.â
Perhaps weâll see one of those looks tomorrow, as the Sparks face the Atlanta opponents again, on the road, at 7:30 p.m. ET.
