No one does a film photo dump like Sabrina Carpenter.
The 26-year-old just dropped some behind-the-scenes snaps from the set of her music video for “Tears,” a fan-favorite track from her brand new album Man’s Best Friend, which debuted less than a week ago. The project is already dominating TikTok sounds and Billboard charts, cementing Carpenter’s place as pop’s reigning It-girl—and her style game is right there with it.
In the cover snap of the dreamy new carousel, the singer held an adorable golden retriever puppy in one hand while rocking a vintage white-and-blue lace lingerie set from Intimissimi. The delicate balconette bra and matching micro skirt featured soft floral embroidery, scalloped edges and just the right amount of sheer lace to keep things sweet and sultry. The coquettecore energy was unmatched.
The gorgeous, vibey images were taken by her sister, Sarah Carpenter, who runs the dontshakethepolaroid Instagram account.
Her glam was full-on vintage starlet: luminous skin, extra-rosy cheeks, soft matte berry lips and fluttery dark lashes that made her crystal blue eyes pop on camera. Her voluminous blonde curls—styled in her signature Old Hollywood pin waves—were pulled back into a casual low ponytail between takes, giving the moment a relaxed, behind-the-scenes charm.
“what is your man’s best friend top 3?” the Pennsylvania native captioned the post, prompting fans to share their favorites. Many noted it was nearly impossible to choose, calling it a “no skips” album.
The comment section quickly turned into a full-on polling frenzy, with early front-runners including “Go Go Juice,” “Nobody’s Son,” “House Tour,” “Goodbye” and “When Did You Get Hot?” Others simply gushed over the Grammy Award-winning artist‘s undeniable face card and sculpted, hourglass figure.
The “Tears” music video dropped at midnight on Aug. 29, alongside the release of her seventh studio album. It’s five minutes of pure pop star power and jaw-dropping fashion, all curated by longtime stylist and creative mastermind Jared Ellner. Carpenter cycles through a range of show-stopping looks—from archival Versace to custom Victoria’s Secret to delicate vintage lingerie—proving once again that no one blends theatricality and trendsetting quite like her. The video, which quickly hit No. 1 on YouTube’s Music Trending chart, is packed with playful nods to The Rocky Horror Show.
For the record, Ellner’s top tracks from the album include “My Man,” “On Willpower,” “House Tour,” “Goodbye,” “Don’t Worry,” “Go Go Juice” and “Nobody’s Son.” He’s got taste (pun intended).
