Sabrina Carpenter Strays From Signature Style for ‘Late Night’ Interview

On the heels of her ‘Short n’ Sweet Tour’ and a Variety “Hitmaker of the Year” nod, Sabrina Carpenter headed to the Big Apple to discuss her flourishing career in the spotlight on Late Night With Seth Meyers.
Joining Josh O’Connor for the series’s Monday night episode, Carpenter chatted with the host and Saturday Night Live alumnus in a two-toned garment that was decidedly different from her signature onstage fashion.
Per The Zoe Report, the 26-year-old donned a “vintage Chantal Thomass FW ‘95” mini dress during her latest on-screen interview. The neutral garment featured a sweetheart neckline, ruched detailing and tight long sleeves, which began just below the artist’s shoulders. She completed her evening ensemble with closed-toed pumps and a crimson manicure, and sported her icy blonde hair in loose curls.
While Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet Tour was defined by vibrant, sparkling bodysuits typically paying homage to the show’s latest cities like London and Manhattan, for example, her late-night look omitted any bold hues (except her classic nail color). Similarly, her muted archival Ralph Lauren gown, worn in Los Angeles on Saturday, strayed away from any signature embellishments and matched the artist’s natural glam.
While her style has seemed to pivot this December, Carpenter is still soaking up the international tour’s over-year-long run on the road. The show commenced on Sept. 23, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio, and headed all around the globe before finally culminating in the City of Angels.
“you guys sold out every single show in some of my dream bucket list venues and reminded me each and every night why i love what i do and im so lucky to do it,” the artist penned to Instagram on the endeavor in a Nov. 28 post. Carpenter also included a slew of behind the scenes snaps to pair with an extra-sentimental caption: “I truly think I’ll look back on this tour when I’m old and gray and wish i could step back into my go go boots just oneee more time.”
Later in the 20-slide carousel’s caption, Carpenter emphatically expressed her gratitude for her fans. “If you came to see a show, if you watched and cheered us on from afar, or if you only tuned in for a 3 second position, i cannot thank you enough,” she declared.
