Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift Declare Mini Skirts and Leather Boots the Night Out Look of the Season

The duo is back and (dressing) better than ever.

Taylor Swift’s brief break from her iconic “The Eras Tour” has meant a few different things. For one, fans haven’t had the opportunity to watch and rewatch her nightly concert clips in recent weeks, or dissect them for hidden meanings and clues for her coming releases. On the other hand, they’ve been treated to sightings of the star alongside her NFL boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and her celebrity best friends (Selena Gomez, Blake Lively and Sophie Turner, to name a few ).

The sightings of Swift and Gomez prove a couple of things. One, their friendship seems as strong (and as sweet) as ever. Two, they continue to be the great pair of dressers that we have always known and loved—and, as a result, serve as our favorite cold weather fashion inspo.

Late last week, on a cool night in New York City, the duo stepped out onto the city streets in their best winter fashion. Though sporting different patterns and materials, the core of their chic outfits was the same: a mini skirt paired with sheer tights, a jacket, and leather boots.

Gomez opted for her skirt and lengthy jacket in a textured leather snakeskin print. Swift rocked a schoolgirl-chic plaid and pleated mini skirt and a short fur-trimmed coat. Their boots, too, differed in color and length, but the idea was the same: leather or nothing.

It is a glamorous winter uniform, if you ask us. It will surely be our go-to for the next several months after seeing Swift and Gomez rock the combo so well.
