Sydney Sweeney proved that cold-weather outerwear can be both practical and polished. The 28-year-old actress posted a 10-slide carousel to Instagram today, Jan. 7, and showcased an abundance of snaps in seasonally styled outfits—which she credited as some of her “fave winter fits” in its caption.

In its first slide, The Housemaid actress donned a cozy, neutral-colored teddy jacket and paired the garment with dark wash denim jeans, which were tucked into knee-high snow boots. Plus, she added a few staple winter accessories to the look, such as a pair of taupe mittens, fuzzy earmuffs and sunnies, the latter of which were covered by her phone as she took a mirror selfie.

However, the candid cover snap wasn't Sweeney’s only snowy standout look. In slide three, she smiled next to Santa Claus in a pastel pink puffer and beige snow pants, and she added a coordinated scarf, hat and gloves to finish off her look.

On a stroll, Sweeney also elevated a two-toned ensemble by breaking up an all-black look with an ivory teddy coat, knee-high socks and a textured, white handbag. In the frame, which she placed as the penultimate image in the carousel, the actress was all smiles in front of a decorated Christmas tree as she graced the cobblestoned city street. Her location was unconfirmed in the post, though the Daily Mail speculated that the actress recently touched down in Lapland, Finland.

Sweeney shared the slew of photographs with her 25.8 million followers on the app shortly after some eye-catching news was revealed on the future of The Housemaid series. On Jan. 6, Deadline reported that the movie's sequel, The Housemaid’s Secret, will aim to start filming sometime this year.

Per the publication, director Paul Feig stated, “It’s been thrilling to see audiences around the world fall in love withThe Housemaid and the incredible work of our talented cast and crew.” Now, fans can get their popcorn ready for the adaptation’s next installment.

The publication also added that its leading lady is “eyeing to return to star and exec produce” the sequel, which mirrors a sentiment Sweeney shared with People in late December.

“I was such a huge fan of the books, so I would be just as happy as everyone else being able to see more Housemaids come to life and getting to explore more of Millie,” she exclusively told the outlet.
