Victoria Justice Celebrates Song’s Anniversary With BTS Bikini Pics From Music Video

Victoria Justice is taking a trip down memory lane this week, reminiscing about the days she filmed the music video for her 2024 song “Down.” In the music video, the singer wore several summery ensembles, including a gorgeous purple bikini outfit that scored tons of style points.
The singer’s recent behind the scenes Instagram throwback post featured a cover photo of Justice standing on the beach in the middle of a sunset. In the snapshot, she shared a soft smile with the camera while wearing a vibrant purple triangle-cup string bikini. Over top of the swimsuit, she wore a shimmery netted skirt with a high-slit, which was adorned with long tassels.
Two more summertime-friendly looks that made the throwback cut included a blue and white patterned two-piece strapless crop top with a corresponding bottom, and a chic ensemble featuring a navy bikini top paired with a bejeweled layer, a bubblegum pink mini skirt, a pink lace cover-up and strappy heels.
Considering all these stunning outfits, it’s easy to see why Justice was feeling a little nostalgic on the first anniversary of her music video’s release. However, her fond memories could simply be inspired by her never-ending love for music in general, as she is always ready to get back in the studio.
In an interview with Marie Claire back in May of 2024, the 32-year-old talked about how her brief break from music made her appreciate the art that much more. She also shed light on how there’s a huge difference between making music that’s personally hers, like “Down,” versus singing a song that was given to her, like her 2013 song “Gold”.
“Music was always something that I loved and was a part of me, and I knew that eventually I was going to come back to it,” Justice said. “My goal is that I want whoever’s listening to it to feel something from it—whether that's something emotional and heartbreaking or feeling sexy and empowered.”
She added, “I don’t think I’ve ever tried to sound like anyone else. I remember the label sending me a song—a good pop song. But it was just handed to me; it wasn’t personal to me in any way.”
And while the music industry can be tough—especially considering she’s an independent artist—she embraces the struggles because she knows that, as long as she’s helping someone out there, her hard work will pay off.
“Being independent is hard because I’m fully self-funded,” she reflected. “I’m not gonna get the major label push, or get on the playlist spots that all the other artists get. There [are] pros and cons to it.”
“There’s a lot of crazy s**t that goes on in this world, and a lot of people struggle in so many ways. If I can do my small part to help someone out or make them feel better or empowered—whether that be my music or just being kind to someone on the internet—I want to do that.”
