Mindy Kaling can do no wrong in the fashion department, even when themed attire is involved. The Mindy Project star donned a dazzling pink sequined jumpsuit with rhinestone detailing and a plunging neckline for an event recently and shared the outfit snaps on Instagram to prove it.

“I am excited for my first Studio 54 themed party because I get to use these emojis!!!! 🕺🏽🪩🕺🏽🪩🕺🏽🪩🕺🏽🪩🕺🏽🪩🕺🏽🪩🕺🏽🪩🕺🏽🪩🕺🏽🪩🕺🏽🪩🕺🏽🪩,” Kaling appropriately captioned her May 6 IG collage.

The 43-year-old actress and producer stood in front of a lush backdrop of greenery as she struck several poses to show off her immaculate outfit. While it’s giving modern-day Barbiecore, Kaling revealed in the final photo who her true outfit inspiration was: 1970s-era Bianca Jagger.

Hairstylist Zachary Morad coaxed the star’s dark locks into glam ’70s curls, while makeup artist Eva Kim Beauty opted to coordinate Kaling’s glam to her outfit with pink eyeshadow, lots of lashes and a maroon lip.

Plenty of The Office alumna’s 6.5 million followers chimed into the comments section to compliment the mom of two on her ensemble.

“You look AMAZING!!!!!” Kerry Washington gushed.

“Stunning,” Octavia Spencer agreed.

“😍 even better in real life 🤌🏽,” Jasmin Hekmat declared.

“Great outfit and incredible inspiration! 💃🏾🪩👏🏾,” Channing Dungey added.
