Yerin Ha Channels Luxe Disney Princess Vibes on ‘Bridgerton’ Season 4 Red Carpet

Yerin Ha is the princess fairytale books told us about.
Ha graced the Bridgerton Season 4 Paris World Premiere red carpet in the most gorgeous frosted teal gown. The upper half of the garment featured a halter design that was pleasantly interrupted by a cut-out underneath her bodice. From there, the dress continued with its satin fabric down the length of the Australian actress’s figure. The skirt then split into quadrants of material to paint an opulent final picture.
A train is always an elegant addition to have on any gown, and Ha’s luxe number shows why this is still the case in so few words. Diamonds sprinkled not just on her ears, but also embedded in the veins of her piece, resulted in a magnificent finish. And it’s no coincidence that Bridgerton’s next leading lady’s latest look resembles that of Cinderella’s beloved dress, as the upcoming season of the Netflix original series mirrors the notable fictional story.
Season 4 follows the life of Sophie Baek (Ha), a working-class member who is simply down on her luck. Needing a break from her rather stressful life, she sneaks into a masquerade ball full of rich members of the ton. Little did she know that it was here that she would cross paths with none other than Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson).
Baek’s concealed identity sends this Bridgerton bachelor on an endless pursuit of discovering the woman who left him transfixed. And while many step up, claiming to be the mysterious individual, there’s only one who fits perfectly.
As the drama series’s first-ever East Asian lead, Ha cherishes this opportunity greatly, hoping her representation will inspire others to pursue their own artistic dreams.
“Through a good performance, people will be able to realise, yes, we deserve and belong in these spaces. It’s okay to take up space,” Ha told Vogue Australia. “Leave your ego at the door, leave all that behind, and just know we’re creating something together.“
She went on, later adding, “Through Sophie, I learned that kindness is going to be the best way to create the best art. That’s the way I tried to lead this season.”
The first installment of Bridgerton Season 4—which will consist of four new episodes—will premiere on Netflix on Thursday, Jan. 29. Then, the final batch of episodes debuts on the streaming platform on Thursday, Feb. 26.
