Ellie Thumann, a rookie in the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue, is gearing up to walk at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show at the W South Beach for Miami Swim Week on Friday, July 7. The show will be live-streamed from Miami Swim Week. Click here to watch the full show.

Ahead of the fun-filled star-studded event, the 21-year-old shared an image from her photo shoot in Puerto Rico with photographer Derek Kettela on Instagram. Thumann stood in the sand with her hands in her hair as she struck a pose and looked off into the distance. She wore a mixed-materials white and denim swimsuit by Chloe Rose, accented with a belt by KATE CATE.

“see you this week @si_swimsuit,” Thumann captioned her post.

Plenty of Thumann’s 1.6 million followers on the platform piped in to the comments section to hype the model and YouTube star up.

“WOWZA!!!🔥,” Elle Danjean wrote.

“the queen has arrived !!” one person exclaimed.

“SO DOPE,” another fan noted.

The styling for Thumann’s SI Swimsuit photo shoot in the Caribbean was themed around denim, so most of the one-pieces and bikinis she modeled incorporated some sort of blue jean motif, as seen in her July 5 IG post.
