After winning last year’s Swim Search open casting call, Mady Dewey is returning to the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue for her rookie year. It’s clear she’s excited about next week’s magazine launch, as Dewey shared a trio of behind the scenes images from her photo shoot in Puerto Rico on Instagram.

The first image showed the social media app cofounder as she leaned back in a beach chair in the sand. She playfully hung out the window of a beach shack, clad in a black-and-white bikini in another. The last photo in the May 9 collage depicted Dewey sprawled out in the sand wearing a black two-piece swimsuit.

“a lil sneak peak at my 2023 rookie shoot with @si_swimsuit 🥹🫶✨ counting down the days till launch!” she wrote in her caption.

“Yesss queen 👏👏,” 2023 Swim Search finalist Sharina Guiterrez wrote in the comments.

“You’re an icon,” added Mia Lind.

“Omg omg omg,” exclaimed 2022 co-Rookie of the Year Christen Harper.

“When she’s smart AND sexy >>>>,” someone else noted.

“EEEEEEEEEEEK 🔥🔥🔥🔥,” gushed Sarafina El-Badry Nance.

“Stunning 😍😍,” Nicole Petrie stated.

Dewey later wrote in her caption, “can’t wait to celebrate launch with you so soon in Florida at @hardrockholly! get your tickets with the link in my bio!! it’s going to be the best time ever ❤️‍🔥.”
