2023 SI Swimsuit Rookie Sixtine Embraces Nature in These 6 Photos From Dominica

A body neutrality influencer and model, Sixtine posed for her rookie SI Swimsuit magazine feature in Dominica, where she worked with photographer Yu Tsai. The resulting images for the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue are breathtaking, and truly captured the natural beauty of the eastern Caribbean country.
While Sixtine has been modeling full-time since the age of 18, her career—and status as an influencer—really took off during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, she’s continued to use her platform for good in order to inspire others to accept their bodies just as they are.
“I think it’s important that people get that representation in [the] media so that they don’t feel this heavy pressure to be something that nobody is,” she told SI Swimsuit at the time of her photo shoot, which just so happened to take place on the model’s 25th birthday. “Nobody looks like the girls in the magazine—even the girls in the magazine don’t look like the girls in the magazine because there’s so much that goes into it. So I hope people see themselves.”
