The last few months have been replete with milestone moments for professional soccer player Alex Morgan. Between her athletic career (which always seems to be producing moments worth noting) and her personal life, the 34-year-old is more than thriving.

The end of the NWSL season saw her squad, San Diego Wave FC, take the NWSL Shield—the award given to the team with the best regular season record—for the first time in franchise history. More recently (and on a more personal note), Morgan just celebrated her nine-year wedding anniversary with husband Servando Carrasco, 35, an American former professional soccer player.

In honor of the occasion, the athlete shared the sweetest black-and-white photo of the two embracing on her Instagram page.

"Nine years 🫶,” Morgan simply captioned the photo. Her followers were just as enamored with the cute post as we were, and made it known in the comments.

“this is so cute 🥰,” one gushed of the snap.

“Love you both!!!! Happy New Year!” another sweetly wrote of the couple.

“Aww so cute 😍,” a fan added.

In addition to nearly a decade of marriage, the pair have one child together, a 3-year-old daughter named Charlie. The final week of 2023 was full of family time for the trio, who spent the holiday period enjoying the California winter sun, taking long bike rides and embracing a family trip to the ice skating rink.

With so many milestones in 2023, we’re excited to see what 2024 holds for Morgan and her family, both on the field and off.
