While Alix Earle’s January has thus far featured a rebranded YouTube series and the announcement of a new reality television series set to debut on Netflix later this year, the 25-year-old social media mogul recently disclosed that she has been struggling behind the scenes.

In a brief video shared to TikTok, Earle—who confirmed her public split from her longtime beau, Braxton Berrios, in December—disclosed that her newfound solitude has created some feelings of discomfort.

“I feel like the weirdest thing with my break up ... is just being alone,” Earle emotionally stated in the near 90-second clip. “Obviously, I have friends, family, whatever, but I feel like just not having that stability of, like, a male partner or just even someone to talk to or distract me is just so weird. I don’t know why.”

The New Jersey native was with the professional athlete for over two years, after making their first public appearance together in June of 2023 at the ESPY Awards.

“I think I’ve just always had boyfriends. I was, like, a boyfriend hopper,” Early reflected. “And I said this year I’m gonna be dedicated to being O.K. with being alone. But I don’t know why I can’t do it ... I feel like it just makes life feel so lonely.”

Celebs offer advice

Commenters on Earle’s post assured the content creator that her experience was far from exclusive. In fact, a trio of celebrities who endured public breakups of their own chimed in with some words of wisdom.

“Can’t sleep either queen, it takes time,” Brianna LaPaglia penned. The former BFFs podcast host split from Zach Bryan in October of 2024, before claiming in a Nov. 7 episode of the show that she was “emotionally abused” by the country singer. “Coming from another boyfriend girl, forcing myself to be alone for the past year and a half was the best decision I’ve ever made. You’ve got this❤❤❤”

Paris Hilton, who called off an 11-month engagement to Chris Zylka in 2018 and married her now husband, Carter Reum, roughly three years later, wrote, “🥺 I know exactly how you feel sis, been through it many times😔 I know it hurts 💔 but I promise you, it gets better. Stay strong and keep shining✨ Love you🫶.”

“Being alone is hard but it’s also so wonderful when you achieve that peace ❤️u got this!,” Haley Kalil chimed in. The former Miss Minnesota turned social media sensation filed for divorce from her ex-husband Matt Kalil in May of 2022 after tying the knot with the former NFL player in 2015.
