Alix Earle provided some words of wisdom to her 8.3 million TikTok followers over the weekend. The Dancing with the Stars runner-up and social media mogul—whose reality television show will debut on Netflix later this year—posted a 25-second clip to the app, which contained a message regarding a potential warning sign when it comes to your romantic partner.

“This is just a friendly reminder that if when you’re telling your girlfriends about something he's doing and you need to make an excuse, it’s a red flag,” the New Jersey native declared. She captured the clip while on a car ride and sported a ribbed tank, dainty tennis necklace and oval, black glasses.

Earle elaborated, “So if you’re like, ‘Oh, he does this, but it's because,’ when you are explaining what he’s doing, what he’s saying, the way he’s treating you to someone else, and you have to like be like, ‘But he didn't mean it like that. He does that because he’s like this,’ don’t fool yourself. If you can’t say it loud and proud to your friends, it’s a no.”

The sentiment was clear and well-received from Earle’s massive fanbase, who headed to her post’s comment section to double-down on the message, while also thanking the content creator for her piece of advice.

“if you have to rationalize... run away,” one commenter penned.

Another agreed: “nothing bad should have to be explained away 👏.”

“I needed to hear this thanks queen,” a user expressed, coupled with a singular red heart.

A fellow fan added, “I needed to hear this at the exact moment you said it.”

Following her split from Houston Texans wide receiver Braxton Berrios in late 2025, Earle has been open about her own healing journey where relationships are considered. Less than one week ago, Earle, 25, detailed her first meeting with the 30-year-old athlete “since October” in a candid video, and admitted that the interaction brought up a slew of feelings.

“It was honestly just really hard for me—really weird, really hard. I was really emotional,” she explained in the video, which was shared at the end of February. She later added, “It’s weird when you go from someone being like, your best friend to being a stranger in the corner of the room. So that was tough. And by tough, I mean, terrible.”
