The LSU women’s basketball team will head into the 2023-24 season with high expectations riding on its performance. The Tigers secured the first NCAA women’s basketball national championship in school history in April, led by Angel Reese, who was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four.

Reese posted a series of photos from media day to her Instagram on Friday, proving herself ready for the upcoming season. “season finale or to be continued; regardless STAY TUNED!🤭,” Reese captioned the pics, teasing a potential extra year as a college basketball player following her senior season. Due to COVID-19, NCAA student athletes impacted by the pandemic have the option to use an extra year of eligibility. Reese is still undecided as to whether she will return to college next season or pursue her WNBA ambitions.

She has only been with LSU for one season—having played her first two college seasons at the University of Maryland—but if the photos say anything, Reese is now a Tiger through and through.

The icon posed, basketball in hand, in front of a purple LSU backdrop. In one of the photos, purple fog floated through the background as Reese held a sequined LSU basketball. She pointed at the camera and showed off her white, purple and gold team uniform from all angles. The photos are fierce, just like the team preparing to defend its 2023 national championship.
