If you’re a fan of Ariana Grande's latest on-screen endeavors, you’re going to want to keep reading. The two-time Grammy Award winning singer starred as Glinda the Good Witch in the 2024 musical Wicked and its 2025 sequel Wicked: For Good and began the year with a few behind the scenes snaps from her time as the Ozian character.

“bubble things” the 32-year-old wrote with alongside a 20-slide carousel, which she posted to Instagram on Tuesday, Jan. 6. She continued, “five and a half years with G.” Its snaps ranged from costume fittings to on-set selfies, and including a few notable guests, such as the film’s director, John Chu, and fellow leading lady, Cynthia Erivo, who plays Elphaba.

“And we love her so 🩷,” Wicked the Musical’s official Instagram page penned in the post’s comments.

Its official film account added, “We adore her dearly 🫧✨.”

However, while the final installment of the two-part Wicked series may have hit theaters in late November, it seems like Grande’s character is still holding onto her reign into the first month of the new year. At the Critics Choice Awards on Jan. 4—where the performer was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for Wicked: For Good—she donned a bubblegum pink Alberta Ferretti gown that showcased Glinda’s signature hue.

Earlier this year, she reflected on her time with the franchise in a letter penned to the American Critics Choice Association, per Just Jared. Grande wrote, “Playing Glinda has been the privilege of my life and the most demanding role of my career.”

She later added in the note, “I don’t know if I’ll ever again play a character that contains so many multitudes and I’ll cherish this experience and this challenge for the rest of my life. I’d do it all again tomorrow if I could.”

Will we be hearing some Glinda ballads on Grande’s “Eternal Sunshine Tour,” which commences on June 6 in Oakland, Calif.? E! News asked Grande the question at the Critics Choice Awards earlier this week, but she kept her cards close to her chest.

“We’ll see. I've been working on the set list for months now, and it’s in a good place, but we’ll never know until we get into the rehearsals, which are starting very soon, and we put things on their feet,” she told the network. “TBD, TBD. I want to let it be a surprise,” Grande concluded.
