Ashley Graham wrapped up Milan Fashion Week with a win for body positivity. She walked in Karoline Vitto’s spring 2024 ready-to-wear runway show on Sept. 24, which is being celebrated for the designer’s choice to feature curve models of all shapes and sizes.

The 35-year-old supermodel took her 21.5 million Instagram followers behind the scenes as she prepared for the main event and did a walkthrough.

“This feels so good, so iconic, all these curvy women together in a show, like celebrating our bodies together,” Graham gushed of the experience. “It’s honestly so beautiful. This is what representation is. This is exactly what we want to see during fashion month in all the cities and all the countries. I feel so grateful to be here.”

The mom of three then shared clips of the glam team getting her ready for the runway show. After hair and makeup, she applauded Vitto for being the first designer at Milan Fashion Week to feature all curve models on the catwalk. Graham then strutted the runway in a gorgeous black-and-white shredded dress.

“THIS is what representation and inclusion looks like,” the 2016 SI Swimsuit Issue cover star wrote in her IG caption. “Thank you @karolinevitto for including me in this history making day. I can’t wait to watch other brands and designers follow in your footsteps on the runway 🫶🏽.”

Many of Graham’s followers flooded the comments section with gratitude for representation on the runway.

“I had the WORST weekend with my body relationship,” one person admitted. “Thank you so much for doing this - all of you. You just helped me reset my brain. 🖤🖤🖤.”

“Keep fighting for us Ashley, this is iconic and important work 🙌🏻🩷,” Ariana Pezeshki noted.

“You’re more than a part of it, you’re a pioneer of making it happen!!!” someone else added. “Congratulations, Ashley!!!!!”
