Dutch model Bregje Heinen and actor Michael Trevino announced the engagement on Instagram with the sweetest joint post. The 2014 SI Swimsuit model and her beau shared the exciting news with a stunning photo carousel on Dec. 30.

Heinen and Trevino posted four photos together, including two black-and-white pics, that showed off a gorgeous and sparkly diamond on the model’s left ring finger. The two were photographed in a scenic park in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

The joint post was captioned simply, “12 . 24 . 23 🤍💍,” and tons of the couple’s friends and fans chimed in to the comments section with congratulatory messages.

“Awww!!!! So so happy for you guys ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Caroline Kelley cheered.

“Yes!!!! Biggest congrats to you guys! We love you! 🎉,” Tanner Novlan added.

“Words can’t describe how happy I am for both of you. But maybe emojis can… 🫠🥴🥹🫨🥰,” Michael Vlamis noted.

“🥰😍🥰🥰🥰🥰 so happy for you both!” Nina Dobrev gushed.

Heinen followed up with a second Instagram post the next day, which featured black-and-white photobooth snaps of the pair, a close-up of her diamond ring next to a coffee cup, a cute mirror selfie and more.

The 30-year-old model and her 38-year-old fiancé first started dating in January 2020. In addition to their romantic relationship, they’ve also joined forces for a creative partnership, too. Trevino, best known for his work on The Vampire Diaries, and Heinen costarred in Jo, a short film directed by Katherine Hughes, together.
