Brittany Mahomes Reflects on Motherhood on Her Daughter’s 3rd Birthday

The 2024 SI Swimsuit rookie and proud mom of two shared a heartfelt message about her firstborn child.

Brittany Mahomes celebrated her little girl’s birthday on Feb. 20, and the 2024 SI Swimsuit rookie let fans in on part of the festivities in Sterling’s honor on Instagram. 

“Happy Birthday to my Sterling Skye! ✨ You made me a Mama and it was one of the greatest moments of my life!” the 28-year-old mom of two gushed in her caption. “You my girl are the brightest little girl and make every day nothing short of beautiful! 🤍 You’re three, where did the time go?😅🥹.”

In the carousel of pics, the Kansas City Current co-owner shared a selection of snapshots of her daughter, along with several family photoss. Mahomes shares Sterling with her husband, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The two are also proud parents to 1-year-old son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon.

The sweet fam celebrated Sterling’s birthday with a party on Feb. 18, and Mahomes also shared video of footage from the shindig on Instagram

While on location with the SI Swimsuit team in San Pedro Ambergris Caye, Belize, for her photo shoot in the forthcoming 60th anniversary issue, Mahomes stated that motherhood was the “best thing” that’s ever happened to her. She also noted that as a mom, it’s important for her to focus on her own well-being in order to show up for her family. 

“Be confident in who you are and be unapologetically yourself,” she said. “People are going to love you or hate you, but finding your values and what makes you ‘you’ to be the best version of yourself is what really matters. Whether that’s health and wellness, being a great wife or mom, or career goals, being the best version of you is the most important thing you can be.”
