2023 World Surf League women’s world tour champion Caroline Marks is riding the wave of her recent accomplishment. Her latest Instagram photo dump shows the professional athlete in full celebration mode, as she should be.

The 21-year-old shared a carousel including sunny selfies, high-speed impressive surfing videos, photos with friends, dogs, and a three-tiered expertly decorated cake. The Florida native, who now lives in San Clemente, Calif., has qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics. The surfing portion of the competition is set to be in Tahiti in July of next year.

“As of late <3,” Marks captioned the post she shared with her 269,000 followers on Oct. 13.

“snapped 🔥,” Francisco Raggio commented.

“a true beauty in & out of the water 🫶🏽,” one fan wrote.

“So slay 💅🏾,” another chimed.

“So sick,” someone complimented.

The athlete recently opened up to Red Bull about how she deals with fear during intense moments while out in the open water.

“It’s more about believing in myself,” Marks said. I know that if I doubt myself on a wave that’s really scary, the chances of me falling are a lot higher. So when you take off on a wave that you’re scared of, you’ve really got to believe in yourself, put your head down and trust that the feeling you get coming out of a barrel will definitely make you want another one. It’s an amazing time for women’s surfing; the progression of the sport is getting higher and higher, and it’s really cool to be a part of the movement.”
