Kate Upton knows there’s no better or more entertaining place to eavesdrop than in New York City. The model, who is best known for her consecutive SI Swimsuit cover appearances in 2012, ’13 and ’17, dropped some piping hot tea in a video during her latest trip to the Big Apple.

The mom of one, who shares her daughter, Genevieve, with Houston Astros player Justin Verlander, made use of a trending TikTok audio and added her own comedic twist to it. The Michigan native sat in front of a window in a restaurant and filmed herself using her front camera. The 31-year-old appeared shocked, surprised and amused as she turned her listening ears on and pretended to absorb the entire conversation from the table next to her.

“You know, she has some problems, for sure, but I think it’s important to just—” one person said, while the other interrupted: “She’s also ugly.”

“Well, O.K., now I don’t think that that was necessary,” the first person responded.

Upton slowly panned the camera away from her to show a small snippet of the people next to her, before resuming filming herself and her hilarious emotions and facial expressions. She rocked a glowy glam look, including feathered brows, dark mascara, rosy blush and a glossy pink lip.

“I live for the drama,” the Vosa Spirits co-owner captioned the video she shared with her 6.7 million IG followers. She also posted the clip on TikTok.

“NYC is the best city in the world (for eavesdropping),” read the on-screen text.

“Agreed 😂 the weirdest things I’ve overheard have been in NYC,” one fan agreed in the comments.
