Christen Goff Shares Sweet Moment With Daughter Romy and Fans Can’t Handle the Cuteness

The SI Swimsuit brand staple shared a sneak peak of an outdoor outing with her newborn.

For Christen Goff, the fall season typically has a familiar formula. The longtime partner of Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff welcomed the start of another NFL season in early September—following preseason training in the dog days of summer—and arrived back to Ford Field to cheer on her husband while he commands the franchise’s offense.

And, while that routine hasn’t changed this year, football season has definitely shifted. Because, now, Goff has a partner in crime joining her—the SI Swimsuit model’s three-month-old daughter, Romy.

Over a month after her newborn’s first sideline stint—at the team’s 34-10 victory against the Cleveland Browns on Sept. 28—Romy made an adorable appearance on Goff’s Instagram on Nov. 6. The four-time SI Swimsuit model, who has made stops with the magazine in Atlantic City, Barbados, Dominica, Portugal and Jamaica, shared a brief clip of the duo at an outdoor meal.

Goff wore a short sleeve knit sweater, in a neutral taupe shade as she held on to Romy. While the reel was brief, the first-time mom affectionately gazed at her child while giving the camera a slight wave before the video ended. In its background, “Sweet Marie” by The Walters masked the clip's original audio.

In its comment section, fans beamed over the newest member of the Goff family.

“Thanks for sharing Romy with us 😍! She is so precious💖!” one user expressed.

“Beautiful baby girl 💗,” another commenter agreed.

More Lions WAGS jumped in. “You both are perfect,” Nicole Anderson penned. The model currently dates the team’s running back, Jahmyr Gibbs. Summer Juraszek Allen, who is married to quarterback Kyle Allen, tagged along. “Sooooo sweet 🥹,” she wrote.

Fellow SI Swimsuit models also gave plenty of love to the longtime brand staple. Melissa Wood -Tepperberg, who joined Goff in Dominica for the magazine’s 2023 issue, wrote, “She’s so beautiful❤️.” Goff’s bestie, Katie Austin, exclaimed, “Hi my love 😍.” The fitness content creater and KA Daily founder has been by the brunette beauty’s side every step of the way into new motherhood.

After both earning finalist spots with the brand’s Swim Search open casting call, Austin and Goff were both declared co-winners of the competition in 2021. Together, they earned a Co-Rookie of the Year title, following their photo shoots in Barbados and Montenegro, respectively.

As the football season continues, perhaps we’ll see more of the mother-daughter duo on the sidelines soon. After two away matches for the Lions in Weeks 10 and 11, the team’s next home game is on Nov. 23, against the New York Giants.
