Christen Harper is back and she’s no longer a newbie. The SI Swimsuit model, who was named co-Rookie of the Year alongside bff Katie Austin last year after co-winning the Swim Search in 2021, makes her return to the magazine this May.

The official SI Swimsuit Instagram account announced the news with a stunning video that began with a map zooming in on Dominica, where Harper was photographed earlier this year. A slow-motion clip of the 29-year-old appeared as she stood on a large rock in front of a majestic waterfall wearing a burnt orange plunge-neck bikini and dazzling gold jewelry.

“Next stop, Dominica where 2022 Co-Rookie of the Year @christenharper touched down for her SI Swim 2023 shoot,” they wrote.

“OMG,” Harper responded in the comments. “This is getting me amped.”

Her fiancé, Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff chimed in with two fire emojis.

“OK BABE 😍😍😍,” added five-time SI Swimsuit model Brooks Nader, who also returns to the magazine this May.

The Women of the League star was photographed by Ben Watts in Barbados in 2022 and by Yu Tsai in Atlantic City in ’21.

“As a young girl I greatly looked up to the women that were honored with this title,” Harper wrote on Instagram when she announced the co-Rookie of the Year news last October. “To think I’m in the same conversation as all the incredible women before me gives me chill and inspires me to work even harder and dream even bigger. “So endlessly grateful to be a part of something so big and so important for woman everywhere. THANK YOU @si_swimsuit @mj_day !!!!”
