We love archival content from Christie Brinkley, and the 69-year-old supermodel delivered with an incredibly patriotic Instagram pic on July 4.

In the photo, Brinkley posed in a ruffled one-shoulder red, white and blue one-piece swimsuit. She paired her beach-ready look with red stilettos and a flag patterned hat atop her head. The mom of three stood on one leg with the other knee bent in the air as she raised her hand to her forehead in a salute. She clutched a sparkler in the other hand, while she pursed her crimson lips for the camera. “Happy 4th of July” was written across the photo in a curly font.

“Let Freedom Ring!❤️🤍💙,” Brinkley aptly captioned her throwback photo, while also noting its origin. “PS This series was from @nymag.”

“This is a fantastic picture. I’ve never seen it before,” one of the model and entrepreneur’s 861,000 followers noted. “Happy 4th. 🇺🇸✌️.”

“Yowza‼️ ❤️🌟✨,” daughter Alexa Ray Joel added.

“I remember that picture,” someone else observed. “You were my favorite model.”

“Stunning! You are a shining example of American beauty!” another person applauded. “Happy Independence Day! 🌟 🇺🇸 👏👏👏.”

“The original American Beauty ❤️🤍💙,” another fan declared.
