There’s nothing that die-hard TV franchise stans love more than a social media pic of their favorite on-screen couples. And it’s even more exciting when the photo comes five years after the show ended.

Scandal fans were in for a treat on Sept. 28, as Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn cozied up in an Instagram post. The actress, who played Olivia Pope, a former White House director of communications and professional crisis and PR manager in the Shonda Rhimes series, shared an adorable collection of photos with her former costar, who played POTUS Fitzgerald Grant.

Goldwyn, 63, posed with his arm around Washington’s waist and she lightly grazed her fingers across his jaw. He reached for her face as the actors stared in each other’s eyes and smiled.

The 46-year-old, who starred in Hulu’s Little Fires Everywhere, donned a gorgeous ruby red jumpsuit from Elie Saab featuring a dramatic bow detailing and lace mesh top. She paired the bright number with Jimmy Choo heels and a bold matching red lip.

“yall spouses are stronger than the front line soldiers,” a fan jokingly commented.

“Y’all never beating the allegations I fear,” someone wrote.

“Sighs … fine lemme go watch scandal for the 27th time,” another added.

“In my mind they made it to Vermont and lived happily ever after ❤️ #olitz,” one person chimed in reference to Season 7 series finale.

“can ya stop playing with me and get together fr,” someone else begged.

“I’m still rooting for y’all 😂TO THIS DAY!!” another fan gushed.
