Ellie Thumann and Her Boyfriend Exceeded All Expectations With Their Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Costumes

If someone had to do it, the model was the absolute perfect candidate for the role.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been the talk of the town for weeks now. So, it’s only fitting that the pair would be the inspiration for an epic, timely couples costume this Halloween. It’s only fitting that one of her biggest fans would take on the task of impersonating her idol.

Model and social media personality Ellie Thumann stepped out in a white-and-silver fringed mini dress, silver metallic cowgirl boots—with fringe to match her dress—and a bright red lip. With her characteristic dirty blonde locks in a soft curl and the addition of a tiny prop guitar, she looked unmistakably like the pop sensation herself. The 2023 SI Swimsuit rookie’s boyfriend joined her in a simple pair of baggy khakis and a Kansas City Chiefs jersey with Kelce’s name and number on the back—a likewise unmistakeable impersonation of the NFL tight end.

“you know i love a football boy 🦅,” Thumann captioned a TikTok she posted of the pair dancing together to a montage of Swift’s songs, just in case the couples costume wasn’t obvious enough (it was).

Of all the couples costumes we’ve seen thus far, this one might just be our favorite. In addition to being a great idea, Thumann’s execution was on point. And on top of it all, Thumann celebrated her 22nd birthday—a celebration commonly associated with Swift and her song “22”—on Oct. 29, making her costume all the more fitting.
