Ellie Thumann, Madisin Rian and Olivia Ponton Promote 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue

The models are all featured in this year’s annual magazine.

Models Ellie Thumann, Madisin Rian and Olivia Ponton teamed up to discuss the brand-new 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue on Monday’s Good Day New York. Thumann, a 2023 rookie, shared photos and video clips from the feature on Instagram with her 1.6 million followers.

The 21-year-old Arizona native donned an abstract strapless mini dress for the occasion, with a bright yellow blazer slung casually over her shoulders. Thumann wore her blonde locks in a perky ponytail and accessorized with a tiny white handbag and coordinated sky-high stilettos. 

“an incredible morning with @si_swimsuit #siswimsuit #siswim23,” the model and influencer wrote in her caption.

In another slide, Thumann posed alongside Rian and Ponton, who were each clad in pantsuits. Ponton, who returns to the SI Swimsuit Issue after her rookie year last year, wore a brown button-up shirt and matching pants, while Rian, a 2023 rookie, opted for a blue-and-white matching set.

“Insaneeeeee,” 2023 SI Swimsuit model Christen Harper wrote in the comments.

“Ummmm you look stunning,” Britton Rose gushed.

“serena vanderwoodsen who? 😍😍,” someone else added, comparing Thumann to Blake Lively’s Gossip Girl character.

“ELLIE you’re unreal,” Jordyn Mannino noted.

Thumann traveled to Puerto Rico with photographer Derek Kettela for the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue, while Rian worked with James Macari in the Dominican Republic. Ponton visited Dominica for her feature, where Amanda Pratt took her photos.
