Fans Are Comparing Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s Adorable Moment to This Iconic Pop Culture Couple

The sweetest pics of the power couple are circulating on social media after the Chiefs celebrated their AFC Championship win last night.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are, without a doubt, all over your X (formerly known as Twitter) feed right now. And, certain fans (whom we are eternally grateful to) are dropping new pics from various angles of last night’s on-field festivities following the Kansas City Chiefs win against the Baltimore Ravens. At the same time, others are gushing over all the iconic pop culture references the power couple resembled.

The 12-time Grammy Award-winning singer, who is nominated for six honors at this year’s ceremony on Sunday, Feb. 4, attended the AFC Championship game on Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium in Maryland, and sat in a suite with Kelce’s mom, dad and brother.

Following the exciting, high-adrenaline game, the “You Belong With Me” singer headed down to the field to celebrate, hug and cheer on her tight end boyfriend while he soaked in the victory. Kelce and Swift, both 34, shared sweet embraces and kissed a few times—with no regard for cameras—and had huge smiles and looks of love written across their faces.

Social media fans have been comparing the adorable photos to Gabriella Montez (played by Vanessa Hudgens) and Troy Bolton’s (Zac Efron) spotlight moment at the end of a basketball game in the classic Disney Channel original movie, High School Musical.

“spot the difference,” one user wrote, with two side-by-side pics of the couples, both dressed in red-and-white.

“Troy is their son actually,” someone joked in the comments. “just a family legacy,”

“Life imitates art,” another wrote.

One person also compared the two to Peyton Sawyer and Lucas Scott, played by Hilarie Burton and Chad Michael Murray, respectively, in the TV show One Tree Hill.

The actress even reposted the message, with a few heart emojis to show her loyalty as a fan of Swift and Kelce.
