If the rumors are true, fans can expect ‘Taylor’s Version’ of the 2017 pop album very soon.

The rumor mill has been swirling for weeks. Fans have been scrutinizing each and every decision that Taylor Swift makes in an attempt to tease out “Easter eggs,” or indications—often obscure to those who don’t consider themselves Swifties—of which album the pop sensation is set to rerelease next.

While the phenomenon usually results in online debates between fans with conflicting theories, it seems that this time around, there is general agreement. The Swifties have spoken, and Reputation is clearly next.

They have been onto her for weeks, but events in recent days have utterly convinced fans. First, the 34-year-old wore a shimmery green gown to the 2024 Golden Globes ceremony last weekend. Then, just last night, she stepped out in New York with Blake Lively in an outfit that fans are claiming has Reputation era Swift written all over it. She wore a green velour mini and a pair of brown leather Jimmy Choo boots with a snake design weaved around the length.

In her own words, Reputation was “a goth-punk moment of female rage,” she said during her recent interview with TIME. Her accompanying “era” in 2017 featured moody, goth moments, and in these recent outfits, fans see an unmistakable return to this aesthetic.

The original album, which Swift released in 2017, was the last that she produced under Big Machine Records, her first record label and the company that owns the masters of her first six albums.

The album, which features tracks like “Look What You Made Me Do,” was viewed as a significant pivot from her original sound and style as a songwriter, opening up a new era for the then country music sensation. Since, she has explored a handful of other genres, including indie and folk.

Though she likes giving hints as to her future moves, Swift’s decisions haven’t always been predictable. Only time will tell if her fans are seeing the signs correctly or simply reading too deeply into her fashion.
