Fans Are Planning Taylor Swift’s Exact Route From ‘The Eras Tour’ in Japan to the Super Bowl in Las Vegas

National news outlets and talk show hosts have chimed in to see how feasible the journey is.

Everyone from X (formerly known as Twitter) fans to Drew Barrymore is answering the internet’s most burning question right now: can Taylor Swift physically make it to the Super Bowl to support her beau, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, in the big game?

The 12-time Grammy Award winner is performing her final Tokyo leg of “The Eras Tour” on Feb. 10, one day before Super Bowl LVIII. Lucky for the artist, Japan is 17 hours ahead of Las Vegas, where the big game is held.

Kansas City and the San Francisco 49ers are set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. PST on Jan. 11, at Allegiant Stadium.

Assuming Swift begins her show at 8 p.m. JST, and wraps up by 11:30 p.m., she can be out of the Tokyo Dome, into some comfy sweatpants and on her private jet within an hour (or, alternatively, on All Nippon Airways’s 12:50 a.m.flight from HND to LAX. The journey usually takes around 11 hours.

The 34-year-old would land i n Los Angeles at approximately 6 p.m. PST, but travel back in time, arriving on Saturday, Feb. 10. Swift would then need to hop on a quick one-hour flight from LAX to LAS, landing in Vegas with room for delays and plenty of time to get a good night’s rest in and show up in great spirits and, of course, a fabulous red-and-gold outfit, the following day. 

One TikTok user took the opportunity to do some math and even made a PowerPoint to display the information to his friends, while Barrymore used a whiteboard to explain it to the live audience on her talk show.

As usual, X is buzzing with tons of notes about how Swift simply must make it to the game, and how ironic it is that she has turned down the chance to perform at the event but might just jump through hoops to make an appearance as a guest.
