It’s official—Quinnen Williams is headed to Dallas. But before the three-time Pro Bowler gets settled in Texas, the defensive tackle and his wife, Maranda, are taking a moment to reflect on their New York chapter.

A heartfelt farewell

Williams, who was drafted third overall by the New York Jets in 2019, shared an emotional farewell to the only NFL team he’s ever known.

“New York will always have a special place in my heart,” he wrote on Instagram on Nov. 4. “To my teammates, coaches and the entire Jets organization, thank you for believing in me and helping me develop on and off the field. To the fans, thank you for embracing a kid from Alabama and showing love through every high and low. You welcomed me with open arms, and gave me a place to grow. Your energy and passion made every game unforgettable.”

He ended the post on a hopeful note: “I’m excited for what’s next in Dallas and can’t wait to get to work.”

Maranda’s emotional tribute

No one captured the bittersweet moment better than Maranda Williams. The designer shared a touching Instagram carousel featuring sideline snaps of the couple hugging and kissing during Jets games, along with a caption that melted the hearts of supportive fans.

“We’ve been in NY since 2019.. I’ve watched you grow into this determined, hardworking, amazing athlete, husband and now father,” she wrote. “Bittersweet memories remind us where we’ve been, and new beginnings show us where we’re going. Dallas what’s good?? 💙🤩⭐️”

The pair got married on a yacht in Miami Beach during the summer of 2022 and welcomed their daughter, True Williams, in 2023.

She closed her post with a special shoutout to the athlete’s powerhouse agent, Nicole Lynn, calling her “the best in the game!!”

As Williams prepares to make his mark in Dallas, Maranda is right by his side—proving that no matter where football takes them, their next chapter will be written together.

A new beginning in Dallas

The trade, finalized just before Tuesday’s deadline, sends Williams to the Cowboys in exchange for a 2026 second-round pick, a 2027 first-rounder and defensive tackle Mazi Smith. The athlete joins linebacker Logan Wilson as part of Dallas’s defensive line, aimed at improving their rankings going forward.

“Jets OGs!!!!! DALLAS IS SO LUCKY TO BE GETTING THIS FAM!!!!!! Beyond excited for you guys!!! ❤️❤️❤️,” one fan exclaimed under Maranda’s post.

“Gonna miss you beautiful. Wishing you and the fam the absolute BEST. Dallas got a good one💙,” another wrote.

“praying for success and happiness on this new journey🥹🤍!! dallas gained a good one!,” someone else gushed.
