Genie Bouchard Shows Off Toned Abs in Vacation Photos From Turks and Caicos

Tennis champ and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Genie Bouchard is enjoying some much deserved R&R time during the offseason in Turks and Caicos. The athlete shared an Instagram post showing off her toned abs in a barely-there red bikini among the palm trees at COMO Parrot Cay, a luxurious private island resort. She captioned the series of images, “on vacay, don’t text.”

Earlier this month, Bouchard joked on Twitter that her routine in the offseason is taking a bit of getting used to, tweeting “Off season is so weird. In season I take like 4 showers a day and now I can’t even remember the last time I took one 😂💀”

In June 2021, Bouchard underwent arthroscopic surgery for a tear in her right shoulder, and after almost a year and a half away from her sport due to the injury, she returned to the court this past August and competed in the Odlum Brown VanOpen in her native Canada.

“The goal of surgery and coming back is to be able to play exactly how I want to and how I was playing before,” Bouchard told Sportsnet this summer. “That’s what we do as athletes. The point is not to practice all the time, the point is to play.”

Bouchard’s competitive spirit and love for the game can’t be matched. Earlier this month, she chatted with pro golfer Michelle Wie West and Hally Leadbetter on their podcast “Golf, Mostly.” The three discussed life on and off the court, and Bouchard answered a series of rapid-fire questions, including what superpower she’d have if she could choose only one.

“Time travel,” Bouchard said. “I’d go back and win every match I ever lost.”
