Earlier this spring, SI Swimsuit model Hailey Clauson was named co-owner and creative director of Margaux the Agency, a boutique agency based in Los Angeles. The entrepreneur also returned to the magazine this May for her seventh year with the brand. She traveled to the Dominican Republic, where she posed for photographer James Macari (the same visual artist who captured her 2016 cover image in Turks and Caicos).

Clauson spoke with Grazia about her new role with Margaux and the unique perspective she brings to the agency with her 15 years of experience as a model. The 28-year-old also opened up about her time with SI Swimsuit over the years.

“I’ve grown up with the magazine, which has been really cool. I feel like I’ve grown into myself,” she told the publication. “Every year, I have a new mindset that I am going in with the woman that I am. I feel extra confident and comfortable in my skin, and it’s less about being in a swimsuit and more about how I feel on the inside.”

SI Swimsuit recently chatted with Clauson about how she hopes to influence positive change in the modeling industry by mentoring young talent through her role with Margaux. Read more about it here.
