Halsey Makes Paris Fashion Week Debut in Animal Print Mesh Gown: ‘Terrifying and Amazing’
Halsey is a fashion week front row veteran and last week, she traded her seat on the sidelines for a few fierce moments on the catwalk.
The “Bad at Love” singer made their debut at Paris Fashion Week as they strutted the runway for gender fluid brand Pressiat. The 28-year-old shared a candid recap of their emotions with her 31 million Instagram followers.
“I walked PFW for the first time today with @pressiat_ and it was terrifying and amazing,” she wrote on Feb. 28. “Thank you Vincent for having me, and congratulations to you and team on such a stunning collection and iconic show! 🐾.”
Halsey gave a special shoutout to her stylist, Lyn Alyson, and the talented man behind her new hair, which she referred to as “blonde slay,” Marty Harper.
The mom of one closed the show for the Paris-based company. They donned a unique animal-print number with mesh and velvet mixed-material patches. The top half of the dress was a corset-inspired style with an asymmetrical one-shoulder double strap and V-shaped hemline. They wore an attached hood made from the same fabric. The lower half of the dress fell straight down and was sheer enough for the three-time Billboard Music Award winner’s toned legs to show through.
“@iamhalsey thank you so much for being so iconic and for being so kind,” the official Pressiat account wrote under her post. “❤️ Love.”
The “Without Me” singer accessorized with a chunky leather bracelet with spikes and sported a dramatic goth-inspired dark all-over eyeshadow look.
While Halsey has worn designs from the brand before, she has never modeled for them. In the photos she shared on IG, she was photographed by Sam Dameshek.
“Runway queeeeeeen 👑,” about-face, the singer's makeup line, gushed in the comments.
“new character unlocked: model,” someone quipped.
“There is nothing you can’t do,” one fan chirped, while another enthusiastically agreed: “SINGER SONGWRITER PAINTER MOM MAKEUP ARTIST BRAND OWNER WRITER MODEL 💋❤️.”
