Simone Biles has announced her return to professional gymnastics, and in honor of the exciting moment, we are throwing it back to some of her best photos from her 2019 SI Swimsuit feature in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
The two-time brand model made her debut in Houston with James Macari and returned two years later to work with photographer Walter Chin.
Biles is the winner of seven Olympic medals—four gold, one silver and two bronze—and is tied with Shannon Miller as the most decorated American gymnast in history. The 26-year-old is also a strong advocate for mental health and partners with activewear brand ATHLETA.
