Jenna Ortega is the newest global ambassador for adidas. The brand launched an all-new label, adidas Sportswear, with the Wednesday actress front and center as its face.

The new label—the brand's first in five decades—will launch online and in stores on Feb. 9. The athleisure collection will feature pieces that can easily be mixed and matched for a unique and sporty style.

The partnership was unveiled in a joint post by the adidas and adidas women official Instagram accounts on Feb. 1. “Welcome to the \\\ @jennaortega,” read the caption.

In the photo, Ortega wore a striped purple, black and white adidas Sportswear top paired with matching pants and tennis shoes from the new label’s spring-summer 2023 collection.

The 20-year-old acknowledged the partnership in an IG story of her own. She reshared the above pic and wrote, “So excited to be joining the @adidas family!!”

In an official press release, Ortega shared that she loves to express herself through the clothing she wears.

“I am huge advocate of expressing all your different pursuits, passions and traits, whether that is through what you do, what you wear or what you champion—which is why I was so excited to work with adidas on this new label,” she stated of the partnership.

The colorful collection is a bit of a departure from Ortega’s on-screen personality as Wednesday Addams in the hit Netflix series. Ortega joked in an interview with Yahoo! that since she’s “living in black” these days, she’s been inspired to wear more color.

“I would get dressed in the dark in [the new adidas Sportswear] collection and it would still make sense and would still feel good and I feel like people would still compliment me on the outfit,” she said.
