A rookie in the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue, Jennifer Atilémile posed for the magazine in Puerto Rico, where she worked with photographer Derek Kettela. The Australian-French model’s styling on set embraced denim, so Atilémile rocked a number of jean swimsuits, including an incredible overall-style one-piece by Chloe Rose.

After attending magazine launch week events in New York and Florida May 18 through 21, Atilémile reflected on her experience and shared an Instagram snapshot from her full gallery rocking the aforementioned swimsuit on the beach.

“Every model searches for a defining moment in their career, and for me this is certainly one of those moments,” she wrote in her May 31 post of her SI Swimsuit feature. “When I left Australia in 2017 to chase my delusional dreams this was always a goal of mine. This achievement represents resilience, hard work, and, self love.”

The model went on to express her gratitude for the overall experience and for the ability to show up as her true self: “Grateful for everyone who keeps me going, and grateful that I think, I’ve remained authentic to myself,” she wrote.

“Beautiful words beautiful girl,” Yasmín Moon applauded in the comments.

“Yesssss!!!! 👏👏👏,” Sharina Gutierrez added. “Shine bright love 👏.”

“You’re so deserving of this 🤍,” Sara Smith stated.
