Josh Richards Sweetly Hypes Up Girlfriend Gabi Moura Following Major Career Announcement

After the content creator was revealed as a 2026 SI Swimsuit rookie, the ‘BFFs’ podcast host couldn’t help but show some love.

We love a supportive boyfriend, and Josh Richards is Gabi Moura’s No. 1 fan for life. The entrepreneur and BFFs podcast cohost couldn’t help but hype up his significant other when Moura was announced as one of SI Swimsuit’s latest rookies in the magazine’s 2026 class.

After SI Swimsuit shared a sneak peek at Moura’s first photograph from the forthcoming issue on Instagram on Tuesday, March 31, Richards left a sweet comment for his beau: “You are perfect baby,” he wrote.

How long have Moura and Richards been together?

Moura, 21, and Richards, 24, first connected virtually in 2021, but didn’t meet in person until two years later, when Moura attended Richards’s 21st birthday party in Los Angeles. The two have been dating since 2023.

While Moura, who hails from Brazil, was initially known for her dance content on TikTok, she has gone on to build a massive following—including 11.5 million followers on the video-based platform and another 3 million on Instagram—through her lifestyle and fashion content.

In a recent interview with YouTube series It Girl, Moura opened up about how she and Richards initially connected, where she reiterated the tale of meeting Richards in person at his birthday party.

“Long story short, we were kinda mutuals in 2022, he followed me, I followed him,” Moura explained. “And then he would text me being like, ‘Hey, when are you coming to L.A.?’ ... and it was just like that kinda like back and forth. And then when I was first in L.A. in 2023, I was here for just two weeks and then he saw that I was there and he was like, ‘Hey, I’m celebrating my 21st birthday party, you want to come?’ And then I was like, ‘Uh yeah. I’ll come.’ And then I brought like four Brazilian friends, so I kinda met him there.”

Additionally, Moura noted that their meet-cute was due, in part, to mutual friends of Moura’s and Richards’ who were linking up.

“[After that initial meeting] ... I was back and forth and then the second time I came to L.A., one of my friends was getting with one of his friends, so you know how that works, like I always gotta be with her, go with her to the event, like hangout, so me and Josh we got really close and I naturally fell in love,” she continued. “Cute story!”

The two often create content together and are a frequent presence on one another’s social media feeds. In late January, Moura shared a heartfelt message in honor of her “best friend” on his birthday. “te amo muitooooo,” she wrote to Richards in her native Portuguese.

“I think Josh is perfect ... I’m in love with him so much and he’s the best ever,” Moura later added of her partner during the It Girl segment. “Most gorgeous, most funny, most amazing, most everything.”
