Kate Upton Joins Vosa Spirits Vodka Water Brand As Co-Owner
Kate Upton is adding to her résumé and branching into the corporate world. The SI Swimsuit legend, who landed the cover three times over her six separate years with the magazine, just announced her new latest business venture.
The 31-year-old is the new co-owner of Vosa Spirits, a non-carbonated vodka water brand. The line features four flavors, including Raspberry Lime, Pineapple, Peach and Lemon, and the gluten-free and 5% ABV drinks are made with six-times distilled vodka, natural flavors and no added sugar or preservatives.
“I am beyond excited to finally share that I have joined @vosaspirits as a co-owner, and cannot wait to get our products into your hands! Once I tried Vosas non-carbonated Vodka Water and lightly carbonated High Line, it was a very easy decision to join the team,” she captioned a joint Instagram post with the canned cocktail company, which was founded in Oct. 2020. “I can’t wait to begin this journey, and share with you all @vosaspirits amazing product lines I know you’ll love as much as I do.”
Upton, who shares her daughter Genevieve with husband and MLB star Justin Verlander, is joining the team alongside cofounders Spencer Bailey and Michela Drago.
“To offer [a non-carbonated] option is so innovative, and there’s also a huge health component. We’ve known for so long that vodka and water is a healthier option when you’re drinking,” the Michigan native told Forbes. “I’ve tried so many products in the space, and none of them really checked all the boxes. I’ve always cared about what ingredients I put in my body, and Vosa brings the highest-quality ingredients, with no artificial sweeteners or preservatives. As I’ve gotten older and become a mother, what you put in your body affects your health, hormones, mood and hangovers. The better the ingredients, the faster you recover.”
