Katie Austin Shares Sweetest Behind-the-Scenes Video of Her Gorgeous Beach Proposal

Katie Austin just blessed her fans with the most heartwarming video of her recent engagement to Lane Armstrong. The fitness influencer and her fiancé have been dating since 2020 and got engaged on March 31.
The 2022 co-Rookie of the Year first announced the news on Instagram on April 2 with a gorgeous series of photos from the beach proposal. She wrote “YES YES YES YES X 10000 MILLION YES!!!!! I can’t wait to be your WIFE❤️.”
The latest behind-the-scenes proposal video, captured by GOAT Farm Media, showed the couple holding hands and walking down the beach through a column of flowers.
The videographers hid a microphone in one of the roses and caught a snippet of the adorable speech Armstrong gave when he got down on one knee.
“Katie, you’re my best friend, the absolute love of my life,” he said while holding her hand as he pulled out the ring. “I’ve never been happier before, ever. I’m the best version of myself when I’m with you and I just can never imagine a life without you. Will you marry me?”
Austin teared up, nodded and said yes before the two shared a sweet hug and kiss.
The 29-year-old sported a black long sleeve mini dress with white flowers all over it, while the Rialto Capital Management vice president donned a cream sweater and black pants.
The proposal was timed perfectly so that the sun began to set after Austin said yes. The two popped a bottle of champagne and snapped some photos.
Austin and Armstrong met in 2020 on dating app The League and now live in Los Angeles together with their puppy, Milly.
Following the proposal, Armstrong set up a weekend full of good food, pool time and partying with close friends who flew in for the milestone occasion.
“I guess now he’s my fiancé so I’ll tag him in my posts!! ;) Everyone, officially meet @lane_armstrong ❤️Happiest weekend of my LIFE!! 10 photos will never sum it up,” Austin captioned an April 3 post she shared with her 381,000 followers. “We feel so loved and celebrated. I cannot believe the amount of effort my FIANCÉ put into this weekend, planned all my favorite things to do in one weekend. From friends flying in, buying me different white fits, decorating the house- I couldn’t feel luckier. Probably won’t ever get over it. So overjoyed for this next chapter in our lives!!!!
