Happy birthday, Kathy Ireland! The three-time SI Swimsuit model and business mogul turns 60 today. The author and entrepreneur celebrated her special day by sharing a precious flashback image on Instagram with her 142,000 followers.

In the image, a teenage version of Ireland is seen getting ready to blow out candles atop a chocolate icing-covered birthday cake. She wore a Betty Boop T-shirt and her shoulder length brown hair was worn loose.

“13 going on 60; the birthdays keep getting better! ❤️,” the kathy ireland Worldwide CEO wrote in her caption.

Ireland, who made her SI Swimsuit debut in 1984, landed the cover in ’89, ’92 and ’94. More recently, she returned to the magazine in 2014 for a legends photo shoot among fellow iconic models of the brand, including Carol Alt, Paulina Porizkova, Tyra Banks and Christie Brinkley.

She founded her global brand, kathy ireland Worldwide, in 1993 and 20 years later, Ireland was named to the first-ever Forbes list of America’s 50 Richest Self-Made Women. Today, the brand licenses everything from media and fashion to home and pet goods.

Plenty of Ireland’s fans and followers chimed in to the comments section of her post to wish the business guru a happy birthday.

“Happy birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈 Yes! You just keep getting better ... hope your day is the best to you 💛,” one person wrote.

“Happy birthday to you,” another individual added. “You’re only getting better.”
