Lindsey Vonn has been on an absolute streak of late, skiing with the biggest names in sports and beyond. Within the past few weeks alone, she has hit the snow with American model Ashley Graham, professional snowboarder Shaun White and, now, former professional tennis player Roger Federer.

A former pro athlete herself, the pair made for a total powerhouse on the slopes. Though Federer didn’t make his living on the snow like Vonn did, a video that she posted to her Instagram proved that he could hold his own on a pair of skis.

Alongside the video, the 39-year-old took the chance to reflect on what her friendship with the tennis pro has meant to her.

“I finally got to ski with my friend Roger,” Vonn wrote on Instagram. “Have to take some time to really reflect on what this means to me… I have admired Roger as an athlete, philanthropist and incredible champion for so many years. Normally, people you look up to always let you down in one way or another, but not Roger. Rog is the epitome of a true sportsman and champion in every sense of the word. We’ve been talking about skiing together for such a long time I wasn’t sure if it would happen…. But here we are; retired, skiing and enjoying life! Thanks for this memory Rog. You and your family are truly one of a kind and no matter what the statistics say (or Leo lol) you’re my forever 🐐, because it’s not about the stats but the impact you have made on me, and I’m just one of millions.”

If you ask us, Federer, 42, isn’t the only one of the pair to have made a big impact, as Vonn herself did the same throughout her career as an alpine ski racer. Needless to say, it was a star-studded pairing on the slopes.
