Lindsey Vonn Has Her Skis on and Is Hitting the Slopes for the Most Wonderful Time of Year
Lindsey Vonn is starting her ski season with a run of Lindsey’s in Vail—because how else would she kick off the most wonderful time of year?
The professional alpine skier, who was the first woman ever to ski the legendary Streif in Kitzbühel, Austria, and the first person to complete the course at night, showed off her quirky side her in latest Instagram post.
The 39-year-old donned baby blue snow pants and a metallic icy blue puffer jacket and was fully decked out in gear including ski goggles, a helmet, gloves and poles as she smiled bright and danced around a sign indicating that she was heading down the Lindsey’s slope.
“First day on skis this season!!! 🙌🏻 Had to start it off right with a run on the top of Lindsey’s in Vail. Can’t wait to see everyone this afternoon at @gorsuch to showcase my new @headsportswear ski line and of course, say hi to all my local friends!❄️🩵 (Dec 18 3-5pm),” the Minnesota native captioned the video she shared with her 2.2 million followers. She set the clip to the sound of Andy Williams’s classic holiday jingle, “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.”

According to trailforks.com, Lindsey’s trail is a 2,825-foot black diamond downhill ski run. It was named after Vonn in 2010 to honor the Olympic gold medalist.
