Lindsey Vonn has officially updated fans on the results of her third surgery following her crash at the Milano Cortina Games this past weekend.

For those unaware, in the lead-up to the Winter Olympics, the skier had sustained a torn ACL and a bone bruise following a crash at the Crans-Montana downhill on Jan. 30. The athlete told fans via Instagram at the time, “My Olympic dream is not over. Thank you for all of the love and support. I will give more information when I have it.” Shortly after, Vonn revealed that she would still be able to compete in the Games come February.

Unfortunately, on Sunday, Feb. 8, Vonn crashed 13 seconds into her downhill race and was airlifted to a nearby medical facility. On Monday, Feb. 9, she took to Instagram once more, writing that she “was simply 5 inches too tight” on the line during the race when her “right arm hooked inside of the gate,” which unfortunately resulted in her twisting and ultimately crashing, clarifying that her “ACL and past injuries had nothing to do with [the] crash whatsoever.”

When it came to any further injuries, she added, “Unfortunately, I sustained a complex tibia fracture that is currently stable but will require multiple surgeries to fix properly.” And today, she's letting fans know that the third surgery was successful.

“Success today has a completely different meaning than it did a few days ago. I’m making progress and while it is slow, I know I’ll be ok,” Vonn wrote beneath an image of herself post-op, giving the camera a thumbs up. “Thankful for all of the incredible medical staff, friends, family, who have been by my side and the beautiful outpouring of love and support from people around the world.”

Other photos in the carousel showed the skier smiling, lying in her hospital bed, chatting with the medical staff. She also included a photo of the many beautiful floral bouquets she’d received from friends and family. The athlete concluded the update with a shoutout to her fellow Team USA competitors, congratulating them on their work and thanking them for their inspiration. As with her previous update, many of Vonn’s famous friends and fellow athletes were quick to rally around her, applauding her strength and wishing her well as she continues her healing journey.

“🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️ champ forever !” Coco Gauff wrote.

“Sending you love ❤️,” Naomi Osaka added.

“You are so inspiring!!!” Ashley Graham proclaimed.

“❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Cameron Brink penned.
